The content of tables can be exported. The context menu then contains the Export menu choice, opening a window where you enter name and file format for the file to which you will be exporting the data.
The file is given a suggested name with the .xls file extension, making it possible to process it in Microsoft Excel. Originally, however, the file is a tabulator separated text file. When you have decided upon file name and file format and clicked on OK, the export is executed.
If filtering is activated (see above) only the rows that have not been hidden by the filter are exported.
